We've been slowly aquiring parts, and it's just about time to start on this build.. Jesse (duesmandella) will be recieving a badass N/A, high comp QR from us.. It will feature some very trick/custom parts, including a custom built, 4-1 header, with a 3" merge collector, custom sheet metal intake manifold, and one of the first sets of our more aggresive street/strip cams. This motor will be able to turn 8000rpm safely, and should make low-mid 200's at the wheels, very easily. It's tough to guess, and I hate to do so.. but, I'm thinking a conservative 225whp minimum, on the right fuel/tune. Anyway.. we had a small piston snafu (pistons were made for stock rod length, instead of our long rod setup), so, those are currently being remade to the correct specs. Machine work will commence shortly, and we should have some killer pics/updates here in the coming months. Here's a rough built sheet: Stock block FI-R 11:1 forged pistons (setup for longer rods and larger diameter tool steel pins) FI-R +5mm billet connecting rods 8 counterweight crankshaft Fully ported/race prepped cylinder head FI-R/JWT Stage 2 QR cams FI-R high-rev spring package Custom sheet metal intake manifold Custom 4-1 header with true merge 3" collector and 1.75" primaries I will keep you all posted! Travis

Throw in custom pistons and all that is what adds up. Im pretty sure Travis has listed somewheres for a regular n/a build prices

Making horsepower, N/A, is ALWAYS more expensive and less cost effective.. But, the rewards are great, as you can make decent, RELIABLE power, without any power-adder.

finnally, i cant wait to see the final with this thing and also travis when you make his header and intake manifold would you be interested in making me one also. shot me a pm of the price and all for both and we can talk and work some stuff out, cant wait to see what your car will do jesse. you gotta figure im almost in the 12s with a stock bottom end, with a high cp bottom end and a good tune and all you should deffently be in the 12s. and thats killing it with an n/a qr25.
Fully Bolted 04 SPECV. with stock clutch and flywheel. 12.90 IS MY BEST 101.47MPH IS MY BEST 1.74 60 FOOT IS MY BEST. FASTEST N/A QR25

thats why you gotta go to a good track and get some good times. im deffently wanting to get a new header since mine broke the other day broke my flex joint for the 4th time. then i also broke cylinder 3s primary tube right at the header flange.
